Order materials

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation is now able to ship folic acid materials. They did not hold any orders. If you sent in an order before Dec. 1, then you will need to resubmit. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

The North Carolina Folic Acid Council is happy to offer free materials to anyone within North Carolina. The majority of our materials are distributed through the North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation. In addition, our head office distributes a limited selection of information and reminder items. Please print out the order forms you need and mail or fax them to the appropriate location.

Brochure: Informacion para la mama nueva!¡Felicidades: Información para la mamá nueva! (Congratulations! Information for new moms). A culturally-appropriate Spanish postpartum brochure that encourages Latina women to continue their good habit by replacing their prenatal vitamin with an over-the-counter multivitamin containing folic acid. It includes specific messages about diet and postpartum depression. 4” x 9” brochure.

Women’s Wellness Rx pads

These pads are intended for you to use when reviewing essential women’s health messages with your patients. You can fill in the blanks, go over the checklist, jot down additional notes and remind your patients to take a multivitamin with 400 mcg of folic acid every day. For added convenience, we’ve included the same messages in English and Spanish.

Educational VHS tapes

All of our educational videos have been transferred to one convenient DVD offered on the NC Healthy Start Foundation order form. If you do not have access to a DVD player, the VHS tapes are available in limited quantities.
